On November 27, 1994, a church was born in the community of San Fernando Valley. It was called the Northridge Christian Fellowship Church. The goal of the church is to serve as a soul saving station, a light to guide people who are sailing in darkness in the sea of life; a church that would reach people and lead them in an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ and a life of obedience to His Word; a church that would be a role model in brotherly love, worship, prayer, fellowship and service.
Pastor Ernie Monte-Alegre , named full-time church planter of the Conservative Baptist’s Mission to the Americas and former Senior Pastor of the Christian Bible Fellowship of Montebello, became the Pastor of the Church. The first service was held on August 14, 1994 at the home of the Madolora’s. Later, on September 26, 1994, the First Baptist Church of Canoga Park opened its facilities for this church. Services were then held at the Snyder Hall.
In order to serve the areas west of San Fernando Valley and the cities within the County of Ventura, another church was formed and it was named Christian Fellowship Church (CFC). CFC is a family church located in Simi Valley. It is a church where the principles of a successful life are studied and applied to everyday life. It is also a place where people gain support and lifetime friends; where people worship, fellowship and serve God in a meaningful way; where God’s people can invest their talents, time and treasures in advancing the cause of the gospel ministry and a place where children and young people grow in strong Christian moral values.
Although the church is called a “Filipino-American” church, everyone is welcome to join in and attend the services. Currently, there are two pastors for this church: Pastor Sheldon Westbrook and Pastor Emmanuel Fabrig.
Everyone is welcome!
